Shanjukta Nath
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Georgia. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford Graduate School of Business, working with Prof. Susan Athey. My Postdoctoral research focused on using machine learning and large-scale RCTs for causal inference, policy learning, and evaluation.

I completed my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 2021, advised by Prof. Guido Kuersteiner and Prof. Sergio Urzua. My dissertation research focussed on preference estimation, schooling outcomes, and segregation.
